In this last installment of our Christmas home tour, I share our Farmhouse Christmas Living Room. Fresh greenery, neutral colors and a touch of red is the theme for this year.
I am joining today with three of my blogger friends to share the final installment of our Christmas home tour. Last up is our farmhouse Christmas living room.
Thank you so much to Sarah from She Holds Dearly for putting this little blog hop together!
I shared our home in five parts this year. Get the rest of our farmhouse Christmas home tour here:
Farmhouse Christmas Dining Room
In our farmhouse Christmas living room, I kept with the simple, minimal feel I carried throughout the rest of the house.
Fresh greenery, neutral colors, candles and a touch of red brought in the subtle colors for the season.
In the fall and winter months, I like to layer each room with cozy textures, like jute, wicker, and knits.
Since we don’t have a mantle, I hung our grain sack stockings from the shop, on our farmhouse built-ins.
I kept the rest of the shelf decor mostly the same. I like to leave it styled simply with antique ironstone and wicker basket.

Between the dining room and living room is a little area that made into an entryway. I added bells from World Market and a little greenery and wood to a crock to make it Christmas ready. I also hung one of my DIY fresh greenery wreaths.

Which style stocking are in your post hanging from the built-ins? Looking at the order form, I’m not exactly sure. I was thinking it is the red, 4 stripe stockings. Thanks for clarifying, and congrats on your new little bundle of joy!! 🙂
