Learn how to make a homemade iced honey lavender latte just like your favorite coffee shop. Made with simple, fresh ingredients, enjoy a fancy and flavorful coffee right at home.
Create a lavender syrup by combining 1/2 cup water, 1 cup honey, and 1/4 cup culinary grade lavender in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer, turn off the heat, and allow the lavender to steep for 15 minutes.
While the lavender is steeping, make your espresso or brew some very strong coffee.
Pour the lavender syrup liquid through a fine mesh strainer to remove the lavender.
Stir the hot espresso and honey lavender simple syrup until combined in a pint sized glass (16 ounces).
Add whole milk.
Add enough ice so the milk is a few inches from the top of the glass. If you prefer a hot drink, use a milk frother to warm and froth the milk before adding in and skip the ice. Gently stir and enjoy!

Notes
Prefer a hot drink? Turn this into a hot latte by using a milk frother to heat and froth the milk before adding your espresso and simple syrup mixture.
Don't have an espresso machine? No problem! There are other at-home methods you can use, such as using a French press.
Play around with flavor. Every coffee bean is going to have an unique flavor. Experiment with various types of roasts and flavors to see what you like paired best with lavender. Additionally, don't be afraid to experiment with other flavors, like adding a splash of vanilla extract.
