Equipment
1
Stand Mixer
A hand mixer would work, too.
Ingredients
4
ounces
cream cheese
1/4
cup
maple syrup
1/2
teaspoon
vanilla extract
1/2
pint
heavy cream
Instructions
To make the filling, mix together room temperature cream cheese with maple syrup
Add vanilla and mix until smooth.
With a stand mixer or electric hand mixer, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold the cream in with the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula and use immediately.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is softened well to avoid lumps in your filling.
When whipping the heavy cream, start at a low speed and work your way up in speed to avoid messes.
Be sure to fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture carefully for a light and fluffy filling.
