It is springtime at the farmhouse. To celebrate the sunshine and warmer temps, I brought in fresh flowers, potted herbs and light linens.

I am sharing my spring bedroom in collaboration with several other bloggers, who are also sharing their spring homes. Read all the way to the end to get more home inspiration for the warmer months.

The grain sack and ticking stripe pillow covers can be found in my shop.

A few days ago I shared how we are getting ready for the garden. Warmer days means the soil is workable, and the frost tolerant crops are going in.

It is finally time to keep the doors wide open and let my barefoot littles go squelching in the mud.

Kids just don’t belong inside, especially 5 kids. In an 1100 square foot home. For months on end. Driving their mom craaaaz…well you get the point. I love spring.

Simple Spring Farmhouse Bedroom

I brought in some potted rosemary, because what says spring like potted herbs? I am clearly obsessed with them, as seen in my Spring Farmhouse Kitchen and Garden Themed Farmhouse Spring Table.

They are just so lovely, and relatively easy to care for. When the frost risk is passed, I will just pop them right in the ground outside. Now I have rosemary to add to the collection. Herbs for months!

Although I have been mostly holding off on flowers until I can grow them in my garden, I did snatch up these yellow beauties when I was at the grocery store this week.

The bright color makes my bedroom a little more cheery for spring.

For our simple spring farmhouse bedroom, I swapped out a heavy throw blanket for my light linen ruffle throw blanket.

Everything else stays mostly the same. The wonderful benefit of neutrals..such simplicity in decorating through the seasons!

Luke and I added the shiplap wall a year ago and I love the texture neutral back drop which it provides.

Hello Jenna, I love how you have decorated your home. I appreciate also all the tips you share with us. Could you please give me a reference where I can purchase linen sheets. Thank you

Thank you. I made a lot of the pillows and blankets. I now have linen sheets from Brooklinen.

What color did you use for the other walls?
