At about $2 per yard, drop cloth is a thrifty DIYers dream. Here in our home, I have bleached it to unify mismatched thrift shop furniture with handmade slipcovers, dyed it to make curtains, and wrapped it around styrofoam balls for DIY Christmas ornaments. It is as diverse as it is cheap. It is medium/heavyweight, so perfect for pillow covers also!
