I’m back with another DIY for my boys’ room.
My husband made me a blank sign from some weathered wood he had been storing in our garage.
He secured the two boards together with smaller pieces on the back that he nailed in.
To the top piece he added a little sawtooth picture hanger.
I knew I wanted to paint something on it, but for a while I wasn’t sure what.
I already have a few other buck items around their room, so I thought a buck head silhouette would be the perfect fit.
I found a template from Eleven Magnolia Lane, printed it, cut it out and glued it lightly in place with spray adhesive.
I painted all the way around the template with a thin paint brush and white acrylic paint.
Then I filled in the center with two coats.
I think it fits in nicely with the other pieces in their little gallery wall and it took less than 30 minutes. Win.
