Here Comes Spring

He is not here, for He has risen, as he has said. Matthew 28:6

The days are getting warmer and a little longer. Soon we will be planting greens and herbs in the garden and spending most of our day outside.

Spring is coming.

I look forward to springtime every year.

It is the only season I can leave the door wide open while the kids play outside. It is warm enough to not make the furnace run constantly, yet cold enough that the flies aren’t moving around much yet.

Spring is for bare feet, planting seeds, walks to the park, and most importantly, Easter.

Easter

Though my life is too busy to stop and reflect much, it’s hard to deny that 100 years from now only one thing will matter.

He has risen.

I hope you find some time to reflect this spring and enjoy this beautiful time of year.

I can’t wait to fill our home with fresh flowers and enjoy all the signs of life popping up in the world outside.
